We left Balranald after breakfast and headed west again. A 2 hour drive in fine but at times foggy weather found us passing goats and emu for the first time this trip.
We arrived in Mildura at morning tea time so stopped at the Visitor's Centre for a cuppa and to find a map of the area.
On then to visit Jo and Tony for lunch. While there we enjoyed lots of patchwork chat and a browse in the garden while Jo also cooked potato and Leek soup in her thermomix.
After lunch we drove to Maree & Frank's at Coomealla where we were able to do some washing, have a tour of the garden and enjoy happy hour while reminiscing before Frank and son Michael arrived home for dinner at about 7ish. Dinner was slow-cooked brisket with rice and brusselsprouts followed by creme caramel with raspberries and cream. Then we were all treated to a piece of the chocolate we had bought in Junee.
Bed was a most welcome event after we'd finished all the washing up.

What a lovely social day. You won’t need to eat for a week after all those tasty meals.
