Mungo NP Trip Day 13 - Goulburn to home

The funny thing that happened last night after we had settled into our motel room was that we had a family arrive with the key to the room. We had to quickly grab all our things as we actually should have been in the next room. The amazing thing is that our key fitted both doors and who knows how many others in the motel!

This morning we were up at our normal time and headed over for our complementary breakfast. Then we hit the road into the fog and mizzly rain. The rain really seemed to be set in from the Southern Highlands so we were glad that it had abated somewhat by the time we pulled into the drive. We could unload without rain!

We then had a cuppa, some patchwork activity, lunch and another cuppa before Kerrie headed home up the mountains. I think she probably had a wet trip. In all we did 2727km.

It is good to be home even though I have a lot of unpacking and washing to do. We are already planning our next travels.

  1. You were very fortunate with the rain, by all accounts. It definitely was a wonderful trip. It’s alway good to be planning the next one.
