All has progressed well with healing and rehab and this afternoon I walked 3 laps of the gym without any crutch or stick. However, I still have to use my crutch for now.
The nurses came and removed dressings and stitches and also took photographs for me so I could see it. I won't add the photo here but basically it looks clean and healed. New dressings are on and they'll probably come off next Friday.
I've had the final instructions from the rehab doctor so am all ready to go home tomorrow with Stephanie.
In all - a job well done. Now all I need to do is keep moving without over doing it.
