A cough, a sore throat and a rainy day

 A lovely opportunity to progress with my latest quilt. The top is now all sewn together and awaits decisions about whether to batt it or not and how to quilt it. It is huge!

Just 2 days after his birthday I've done the Jacobs' Ladder quilt top from Surrey's shirts. Such a lot of shirts and such a big man in many ways. I loved the feel of these worn shirts and it brought back such a lot of memories.

On Monday I was able to finish painting the manhole door and attach it. The paint is not great but it is what I had. Job done.
