Exercises begin

Today was my second visit to the Hand Therapist to have the dressing changed. Already the wound is looking a lot less raw and is healing nicely. There had been no bleeding or leaking since the dressing was changed on Tuesday.

She then took me through a series of four exercises for my fingers that I have to repeat x3 today and then x6 thereafter.

So at lunch I took off my splint and did the exercises again - stretch fingers wide, make a duck beak with four fingers together, hook the fingers over at the first two joints, make a fist - all x10 nice and slowly.

Within about half an hour I was exhausted and had an hour long nanna nap. Amazing how exhausting tiny finger exercises can be.
