A car trip in a hire car

 Stephanie and I have returned from our long trip away in the hire car to Baradine for Scrub Stitchin'. It was lovely to have the bigger car and we loaded it to the brim with our sewing gear.

We only had one issue - a flat battery. However, one of the husbands, Mick, had the little portable battery and was able to start it for us.

Before we headed off I hosted 4 visitors from Utah who were also going to our quilting retreat. 

The car has now been returned with no issues. I am pleased that saga has ended. I am now just waiting for my car to be returned. Until then I will be using Uber or walking or asking Alec for lifts while he is staying with me.
