The bunch of bananas that Cathy and I harvested a few weeks ago has now all gone. They all ripened at once. This photo was taken just last Monday.
It has been compulsory bananas for everyone who visited this week. I'd hate to see them all go off.
They were very difficult to harvest as they were hanging over the fence. It meant we had to use our knowledge of levers to manoeuvre them into a position where two weak ladies could lift them.
I’m sure everyone enjoyed them.
