Today's Harvest

 A few weeks ago Cathy and I were very disappointed when we stripped the sweet potato garden and found only one tiny sweet potato after a year or more of growth.

Today was a different story! I decided to plant some ginger in that garden as it is a designated digging garden and what should I find?

The fat one is about as big as my knee. They were both growing vertically and their tops were well under the surface so it was not until I started digging holes to plant the ginger that I felt something solid. Then I went searching and found another. After that I decided not to look for any more as I have enough for a week or two now.

I wonder how many I will eventually find?
