Today Cathy and I finished the tidying of the orchard/veggie garden and everything has had a hair cut ready for new spring growth.
After much raking up and stockpiling green waste for the green bin it now looks presentable.
A lot more light can now get in to all the trees and the veggie gardens and the bananas have had a good prune. We found lots of grass runners which are now planted in the chook shed corner and the area is roped off to remind us not to rake or mow that area until the grass grows.
Just for comparison here are some pictures of the same area over the years.
