Last night we had a fire about 3 km south of Gerroa at about 9pm last night which kept us all alert overnight, sleeping in bits. Geoff slept on the lounge with the window and blind open so that he could hear and see what was going on. The fire only lasted about an hour before it disappeared from the Fires Near Me website.
We woke this morning to a refreshingly cool morning but quite smokey and burnt leaves scattered all over our lawn.
The fire near Bungonia has not spread towards Underhill yet.
We have our watch zones registered and get notifications if anything happens in our areas.
