The Bath Saga

Last year I renovated my downstairs bathroom and decided to take the bath down to Underhill. However, once it was sitting in the back drive waiting other ideas were discussed until just a few weeks ago, just before the rains as it turned out, Geoff and my mower man Rob moved the bath to make a pond.

Later that day Geoff and I rigged up a makeshift drain to catch the runoff from my awning. The rain came and the bath was filled overnight!

Since then Geoff was able to level the bath and I have been able to plant some of the waterplants that have been waiting. I bought a bamboo piece to act as a channel for the rainwater from the rainchain at my back window rather than the polystyrene boxes we'd rigged up.

Today I found my solar fountain that Surrey bought many years ago and that I have just had stored until I found a suitable spot.

So my bath has now been re-purposed from the one below. Not bad!
