Strong Winds - banana harvest

Strong winds last week had a devastating effect on my bananas. I lost 4 stems - 2 had bunches ready to harvest so I got those, one had very immature fruit on it and one would have flowered soon. I now have two very bare banana patches.

(above) One stem left ready to flower but the others are all quite short and a year or two away.

(above) The fruiting stems were twice as tall as the ones that are left.

The banana bunches are now ripening at the back window and could start yellowing in a week or two.
