A day trip to Underhill

Last Saturday Geoff and family drove me down to Underhill for the day. We were greeted by our lovely new gate posts and they are even angled so that the gates stay open as you drive through. No chocks.

The dams are quite full.

We did some burning off which is always the main job in winter and Mei loved watching Geoff and Jen as they work. However, she still has to be tied up as she does not come when called. Here the womper-stomper has been used as they anchor.

Because there was room in the car Geoff loaded in the table and chairs from their back deck. We can now burn off the old ones that are falling apart.

In all, a great day and it was quite good for me to get to and from theirs to save quite a few kms on the round trip for them rather than coming to collect me.
