After removal of at least 24 stitches today I now only have to do lots of exercises and only wear the splint at night. Soon I have to start massaging the scar with cream but can't drive until I can made a fist. I am actually typing this entry with all my fingers again. Hooray!
It actually looks worse than it is. Everything is healing beautifully and it now has to be aired and used all day but only for light tasks. The incision goes almost all the way around my little finger at the base. But no more lumps and twists!
I am even allowed to get it wet and have a proper shower without a plastic bag. And just after I worked out how to wash my hair this morning with one hand!
